Today is one of those days where I wish I had 5 more minutes. Those extra special minutes would have let me sleep a little bit longer before dragging myself out of bed to for work. Or given me that extra moment to think of what I needed to bring into work me me today, avoiding the 'oops' moment when I finally made it into work and realized I had left me work computer at home. Or saved me from bumping into my boss on the way to my desk a little bit later then I would have liked. I could have used those minutes to make a home made lunch rather then buying an icky sandwich I wolfed down from Cosi (which is now giving me heartburn).
And on the opposite side of that, if I could have saved those 5 little minutes here and there i'd gladly give up 5 and fast forward to 4pm so I could leave work and be at home with BB watching Noggin or reading 10 Little Ladybugs for the 700th time. Or giggling as we rub noses and tell hubby, 'it's a girl thing' when he asks what we're laughing about.
So maybe tomorrow i'll set my alarm clock 5 minutes earlier so I can start the day off a little easier and catch those elusive 5 minutes? Nah, i'll just stay in bed and hit the snooze button once again...
Poor baby, you know maybe you should take five minutes before tubby time for BB and get your things ready for work, set aside the items you need and maybe make a quick lunch, that way you can still hit snooze for your five minutes in the morning.

If only we could add five minutes to each important activity - more sleeping, more snuggling. All the good stuff!

Thanks, dear. I actually did that on Wednesday night right before I got sick ... which means my stomach was upset so I didn't take my sandwich to work (but hubby was able to take it). Oh how my plans never work out, haha.
