I really do. It's a place where I can escape a hectic workday, even if it's only for a few minutes. I love the park because despite being smack dab in the middle of a bustling city it smells so good and fresh. There is nothing better then clearing your head as you walk through the grass or sit down on a wooden park bench.
One of my favorite things about being in the park is the fact that more often then not, there is something interesting to see that will take your mind away from your troubles. Last week while I was lunching and crafting, I spied from the corner of my eye one of the biggest dogs I'd seen in a long time. This was one big doggy!
Even some fellow park goers couldn't help themselves as they stopped doggy and owner to have a chat. I was too far away to hear what they were talking about but i'm assuming they asked her what breed of dog he was and if he was a substitute for small ponies at country fairs.
The park that I usually go to is well maintained and I even caught a glimpse of some of the gardeners that keep the place looking so good. They had a good time the day I took this pic and talked and laughed with each other the whole time they worked.
And who else have I spied recently? Why, the doctor that delivered my BB!
I realized it was him too lately and only got a chance to take a picture of his back and bum. He's still sporting a longer 'do which suits him and was chatting up a storm on his cell phone. He had a spring in his step that only fresh air can bring on. Either that or he was rushing back to the hospital to deliver another baby. Ah well, it was a good end to another park visit.
