I've finally gotten a chance to put the finishing touches on my Felt Crown and here it is! I'm sooo happy with how it came out that I might have to re-make one for myself ... lol.
This crown was such a fun craft and I can't wait to make some more. I'm already thinking of other books that I'd like to transfer to a crown as well as other crown ideas. This is a great craft and is to so many ideas and interpretations - I'm so glad I signed up for the swap!
Even BB let me take a few pics of her with the crown on.
She loved it so much that I had to hide it from her after our fun little photo shoot. Okay, maybe photo shoot isn't the correct wording since I literally put the crown on her head, snapped this pic in our dimly lit living room and ran outside with her and my hubby so we could have lunch before it got too late. She's definitely getting a crown of her own in the future.
I can't believe how big my baby has gotten already. I feel like it was just the other day that I had her and she's already 2 1/2 years old. My niece is also getting to be a big little girl and is turning 2 in a few weeks. I've been working on a craft for her too which I'll reveal after her bday so I won't spoil the surprise.
As for the crown, I'm so happy I was able to complete it just how I wanted plus it's going to go out before the swap deadline. This is a happy ending to a great weekend :)
that is an awesome idea .. my boys would love some crowns to play with.. they are 3 (4 in december).. I have been trying to come up with boyish costumes for them.. so a crown and cape sounds fun...
btw - love your dolls with the loose hair.. cute..

Thanks so much! It was a little time consuming but such a pleasure to make. I'm sure your boys would *love* to wear them! Oh to be that young again ... ;)
And thanks for the doll love!
