A few months ago my Mother brought home a bag of vintage embroidery floss that had been gifted to her by a friend. Since my sweet Mom knows that I have been completely enamored with all things embroidery related, she naturally gifted them to me with the hopes that I would eventually make something for her. This was also around the same time that we moved and unfortunately the floss was packed away ... until a few weeks back.
After unpacking them I soon set my eyes on transferring all of the floss into neat little thread bobbins and anyone who happened to visit during that time was also politely bullied into helping me out (thanks, guys!). It took forever but was totally worth it! A quick trip to IKEA to pick up a box to store them in and soon I was in floss heaven ...
Don't they look so dreamy? I can honestly say that for the first few days after they were sitting in their new box I just took them out to stare at them and imagine all of the possibilities in store ... they really made (and continue to make me) happy, especially when I'm having a rough day and let me tell you, there have been one too many lately if you ask me.
So dears, please stay tuned to the treats that I whip up with these lovelies in the future. That is, if I can sneak some away before BB gets a peek and wants to play with my "candy". And I have to say, I totally agree ... they are the sweetest candies I've seen these days and totally fat free.
I can see why bb would think they were candy. Good job, i can't wait to see you new fabulous creations.

Between these and my new paints it's a wonder anything stays where it belongs anymore, lol.
