He's Here!

After a long and rough labor and delivery, my sweet little nephew is here!

My sister is such a strong girl and a total trooper!  After missing the chance to get an epidural (the staff was laughable - what a shame!), my dear sister mustered up all of her strength and courage and delivered this cute little bundle of joy on Sunday evening, 5 minutes shy of Valentine's day.  What a lovely Valentine's present for them and all of our family!

He's such a cute kid and I love those yummy cheeks!  We've been picking out which features we think he's inherited from him Mom, Dad and even my Father, and boy let me tell you we've been having fun.

My sister, God willing, will be discharged from the hospital sometime today and will finally be at home with her new little family this evening.  And then the kitty's get their chance to welcome this cutie into their lives as well.

Welcome home, little one, and God bless you and your new Mommy and Daddy!  We love you all so much already.

Ready, Set, Go

As I hinted in previous posts, there are big changes in store for our little family.  Over the next few weeks La Casa Phantom Moon will be moving to a place that fits our foursome a bit better.  Needless to say there have been many days where I've been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off.  I can't wait to officially move in (we're doing multiple renovations, painting, etc) and share pictures of our new digs.  Until then blogging will be minimal while I dig myself out of the many boxes we've seemed to accumulate over the years.  Release the search hounds if you don't hear from me soon ...
