Check. Check. And check. I feeling all of the above each and every day. So much has been going on around these parts these days that it's so easy to feel overwhelmed and have you thinking to yourself, "now, if only I didn't have to sleep I could do so much more ,,,".
The renovations on our new house are coming along swimmingly. And by swimmingly I mean the professionals involved are doing a heck of a job! For the rest of us amateurs, well, we're getting the work done but good Lord above is it taking longer than I expected. Really, when you watch those home shows on TV they totally set you up thinking, "I could totally demolish, rebuild and furnish my home in one weekend and do it all for $125!". Um, no. Not gonna happen. Idiot.
Suffice to say not much has been going on in the crafting area but I have been working like a dog. I can officially remove wallpaper, spackle, caulk and paint a room like a semi-pro (if my dad read that last line he'd probably laugh).
I hope in the next few weeks we're finished all of the renovations and can finally move into our little slice of heaven. I can't wait to set up my crafting space and get started on the gazillion projects I've either started and had to abandon, or those that have been cluttering up the little space I have left in this here noggin.
