Or should I say several days after? The Outdoor Craft Store was this past Saturday and it was amazing! I'm so exhausted though from all of the late nights that led up to the show that I literally crashed (after having dinner of course) after the show on Saturday and am just starting to get my bearings today. I had a blast though and it was the perfect first craft show. I of course forgot my camera in the rush of all things but I did manage to take some pictures with my cell phone.
Here's one a quick picture of my booth before the show started. I really love how it all came together that day and I found that actually setting up is a bit harder then I thought. It's funny when you have all sorts of ideas in your head how you'd things to go and when it comes to putting things together like this, the most natural ways to do things just kind of evolve and it's okay to kind of do things organically instead of sticking to the plan.
And those gorgeous ladies in the photo? They are my true soul mates, my Mom on the left and sister on the right. I couldn't have done it without them! Oh, and the awesome treats that they kept bringing back to the booth helped that day too, lol.
And take a look at this handsome muffin. He made an appearance and had all of the women who stopped by the booth swooning over him! And who wouldn't with that killer smile? He's a keeper for sure! At one point I walked around the show with him, you know - just the two of us, and commented more then once that I had "stolen" him from my sister. Thinking about it today, I'm not sure that was the proper thing to say, ha! But, I was also running on about an hour of sleep so some slips of the tongue were to be expected.
And look at the twins! Their "Mom" was dutifully pushing them around like this for the entire show. It was too cute so of course I had to run over and snap a pic of them while she was chatting it up with some fellow vendors.
It was definitely a great experience and I hope to do it again some day real soon! And to give you all a heads up, any of the items not sold on the day of the show will be slowly making their way to my Etsy shop as I find time to photograph and list them. Now if you will excuse me I'm going to continue my final day of rest before plowing through work again. Hope you all had a great weekend as well!
