It seems that we have another visitor at the Phantom Moon Ranch. And not another cute chirpy chirp kind. This visitor is a creepy crawler that makes you itch all over kind when you imagine it walking through your house at night while you're asleep. I'm talking about a spider of course. And not the cute kind that saves pigs and spins words in her web like "Some Pig" or "Terrific".
But I do have to say, her web was pretty incredible and made in less than 3 hours. Suffice to say Terminix has been contacted and will be taking care of the rest of her family (she was sent "home" that night).
Speaking of Spider webs, remember this goodie from back in the day?
This month, The Sound of Music turns 45 years old! Insane, right? It is truly a timeless classic and one of my favorite movies to date. Including Steel Magnolias, it's one of the most quoted movies in my repertoire. I even wanted to name BB after one of the Von Trapp children (Liesl, Brigitta or Gretl were the contenders) but hubby veto'd that one pretty quickly. In the end he picked a winner but that's another story.
Back to the Sound of Music ... little Miss Oprah did the impossible and reunited the cast for the first time in 45 years along with the real life Von Trapp grandchildren, and aired the fantastic interview on her show last week. I had been waiting with baited breath to watch the show and even added a note into my calendar to watch it. My soul sister was excited too, we even talked about having a screening to honor the occasion!
Well, dear friends, life happens and neither of us were able to watch or record the interview. But thanks to the magic of the internet, a few portions of it is available on YouTube (thanks, sister!). So if you flubbed like me and didn't get to watch it, go grab a hot cup of cocoa and settle in to watch the interview now.
Enjoy! Now please excuse me, I have to catch up and most likely get a few tunes from the movie stuck in my head for the rest of the day. Oh Christopher, you made such a handsome captain ...
